Keep up to date about YP on social media!
The YMCA Youth Parliament (YP) program is a nation wide project, in which YMCAs in each State and Territory of Australia give young people a chance to stand up in Parliament and have their voices heard.
The WA Youth Parliament aims to educate, empower and resource young people to take an active role in their community and contribute the views of their electorate at a state level.
The Youth Parliament program is a fantastic opportunity for young people to comment on government policy and make recommendations to the government on what young people want, whilst engaging in a great development program.
All Western Australians between the ages of 15 and 25 are invited to apply - the program isn't about politics and isn't just for high achievers, it's for anyone who wants to have their voice heard by the people who make the decisions.
